wedding

Special days require a special approach, it is vital that your photographer adds to your wedding experience rather than detract from it, our many years of working in this field has taught us exactly how to make that possible.

We think that a fast and relaxed "reportage" style of photography gives you a true flavour of your special day. Of course we still take the traditional groupings, so with all the photographs we take there's not much we miss. We then load all of your finished photos on to CD's for you to keep leaving you free to copy and print with no restrictions, but of course you can still come to us to produce any prints, canvases or framed photos.

We will also provide you with on-line access for you, your family and friends to use. You will be given your own secure pin number to be able to view and order prints at a time to suit you. Orders can be sent and received anywhere in the world.

Our standard package is £950.00 which includes two photographers to cover your wedding day, a CD of all your photographs and a ‘Show Off Box’ with twenty 6”x4” photographs of your choice. We are happy to discuss any variations to suit
your needs.

Please phone John on 07963 701594 for any further enquiries.

Once you have booked Shooting Stars Photography to cover your wedding day, your agenda is as follows:

1 month before
Visit the venue to familiarise ourselves with the best photo opportunities come rain or shine, and meet the venue co-ordinator if applicable.

3 Weeks before
We get together to finalise timings and discuss any photo suggestions you may have, or any groups of people you wish to be taken together. Plus discuss the plans for any additional venues you would like to visit, such as the beach.

On the day
Attend the bride as she gets ready with her bridesmaids, if she would like us to be there.

Liaise with the Priest or Registrar to agree what photography may be allowed during the ceremony and where the confetti shots may be taken.

Meet the groom and the best man at the ceremony venue, and take photos of the guests arriving.

Group shots at the Church / Venue ( the big group shots are always the hardest part of the day so a large group of people need to be handled with humour and patience to achieve a fun and contemporary look, without taking too much time.)

Then a quiet time with just the bride and groom in a secluded spot where we can get lots of gentle and romantic shots without all your guests watching.

We will then mingle with your guests for some candid photos until it's time for you to be seated for the reception, we then leave so you can enjoy the rest of your day without the Paparazzi!
